I know its kind of hard to say. Think if the flower named dahlia and just add an I to the beginning. Its’ pronounced like this, Idahlia (I-dal-ya).
I was born in Texas and raised in rural New Mexico. From a young age I knew I wanted to be an artist of some kind. I tried painting and sculpting but really found my passion in photography while working for my high school yearbook and newspaper. Although I love the Southwest, after graduation I wanted to explore beauty somewhere unlike the place I grew up. I visited Savannah, GA and knew instantly the Savannah College of Art and Design was where I needed to be. There I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Photography. I have exhibited and sold work in France as well as the United States. I love to travel and discover new places through the eye of my camera.
Currently I live in Austin, TX where I have been working as a wedding photographer since 2009.
